Will your WhatsApp account run in multiple smartphones simultaneously?
Leaked screenshot
There have been reports about the multi-device support feature of WhatsApp continuously for some time. WABetaifno shared a screenshot.
One limitation of WhatsApp is that you cannot run it on multiple devices simultaneously. To do this, you only have the option of WhatsApp web, but now the company is preparing to bring multi-device support.
WhatsApp is currently working on version 2.20.143 and WABetainfo has found some such evidence in this version which shows the multi-device support given in it.
It is worth noting that since last year there have been reports about multi-device support feature in WhatsApp, but till now there is no clarity on it from the company. However, at least work on this feature has started.
WABetainfo has shared some screenshots where Log in on a new device can be seen in the beta version of Android. There is a flash message on this screen which says that using mobile data, it will slow down and consume more data.
By looking at this, it can also be guessed that the company can probably reclaim WiFi data for multi-device WhatsApp support. According to the report, this can also be done due to large file transfers.
It has been further stated in this report that when messages and calls are received, notifications will be available on all devices where you have logged WhatsApp. However, this is possible only when the company brings it to the official final build. Sync option can also be given for this.
